Solar control film

Reflects the sun's heat back out before it builds up in the room. Reflective films give the biggest reduction; spectrally selective films do it while keeping the room bright.

Film for every home

Older or newer, every home has its own glass problems. There's a film for each of them.

Older homes

Cottages, farmhouses and period properties. Clear UV and safety film protect original glass and the furniture behind it, without changing how the windows look.

We check your glass first

Not every film suits every window. Before we recommend anything, we check what you've actually got from your photos and video, so the film performs properly and your glass stays safe.

  • Glass type. Single, double or triple glazed, toughened, laminated or annealed.
  • Coatings. Low-E and self-cleaning coatings change which films are suitable.
  • Thermal stress. Size, shading and orientation, so the film won't put the glass at risk.

If we can't tell from what you've sent, we'll ask for one more photo, usually the small stamp in the corner of the glass. No home visit needed to quote.

For businesses

Offices, shops, schools and surgeries. Glare and heat control for staff, frosted privacy and branding for meeting rooms, and safety film and manifestation to help glazed doors and low panels meet Regulation 14, without replacing the glass.

  • Fitting arranged around your opening hours
  • VAT invoices for every job
  • Safety and security film for vulnerable glass

From first call to finished glass

Same four steps whether it's one bathroom window or a full office floor.

1

Virtual survey

Send photos or a short video of each window, with rough sizes if you can. We check what glass you have so the film suits it.

2

Fixed quote

A clear, written price per window. That's the price you pay, with no extras added on the day.

3

Fitting

Dust sheets down, glass deep-cleaned, film cut and applied, edges trimmed neatly to the frame. We tidy up before we leave.

4

Settling in

A slight haze for the first few weeks is normal while the film dries out. Leave it 30 days before cleaning and it settles clear.

Before you ask

All questions and answers

Can I get a quote from photos?

Yes, that's how we quote. Send photos or a short video of each window through the quote form or on WhatsApp, with rough sizes if you have them. We check your glass from what you send and come back with a fixed written quote.

Do you need to visit to give a quote?

No. We do virtual surveys: you send photos or a short video of the windows and we quote from those. We only come out to fit. If we need a closer look at anything, like the stamp in the corner of the glass, we'll ask for another photo.

Will it make my rooms dark?

Only if you want it to. Spectrally selective film cuts a lot of heat while staying close to clear. The darker shades are for glare and privacy, and we'll talk you through how each shade will look before you choose.

Is window film safe on double glazing?

On most units, yes. Some film and glass combinations put extra heat stress on the glass, so we check what glass you have before we quote and only fit film that suits it.

Can people see in at night?

Mirrored and tinted films give privacy in daylight because it's brighter outside than in. At night with your lights on, that flips. If you need privacy round the clock, go frosted.

Can window film be removed later?

Yes. Film can be removed cleanly without damaging the glass, which also makes it a good option for renters, with the landlord's agreement.

What would you like to fix?
